Wow! Wouldn’t that be something!
It would revolutionise your life – your goals in life, choices, decisions, relationships, focus, attitude, etc., would all change dramatically!! Just imagine, you could better prepare yourself to take on life’s surprises, twists and turns…
Oops! Sorry! No more day dreaming… it’s time for a reality check! Only God knows the future – all the days of your life – the beginning from the end. (Rev. 22:13, Ps. 139:16) The future has always and will always remain a mystery despite man’s best calculated guess. (Eccl.8:7)
Don’t be sad, God is good. He has not left us in the dark but has graciously, through His Love Letter (the Bible!), given us several basic and simple
Guidelines e.g. ‘Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.’ Prov. 4:27;
Safeguards e.g. ‘He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity’ Prov. 21:23;
Warnings e.g. ‘Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.’ Gal. 6:7;
Helplines e.g. ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest…’ Matt 11:28-29;
Accompanied by several examples of people whose lives were blessed because they chose God’s Wisdom and of those whose lives were badly messed up because they chose their own wisdom.
So relax, by Trusting God (Prov. 3:-7) and applying His Principles faithfully in every area of your life, each day of your life will become a stepping stone to a great and secured future.
Reject the fear of the future. Be wise and chose His Wisdom because Jesus knows the End!

The Assembly of God Church, Kolkata - The Church with the Open Arms - was founded by Mark & Huldah Buntain over 50 years ago. Today as we look towards the future, we believe God has greater things in store for us – as we continue to extend Christ’s compassionate touch: to feed the hungry, to heal the hurting, to share hope in our world.
